WYD Scholarships through YAMDI

Thanks to a generous grant from the Ambassador Fund, eligible young adults can receive a $4,200 pilgrimage scholarship, reducing their cost to airfare only (estimated at approximately $2,000).

To receive the scholarship, participants must complete YAMDI (Young Adult Missionary Disciple Initiative)—our formation program designed to help young adults grow as missionary disciples through prayer, authentic community, Catholic formation, and evangelization before, during, and after World Youth Day. YAMDI would involve attending several formation sessions a retreat and the completion of a Missionary Discipleship Project that the participant envisions with a help of a mentor accompanier. The YAMDI process culminates in being commissioned by Archbishop Perez as a Missionary Disciple.
