JUBILEE PILGRIMAGE 2025

Join Archbishop Nelson Perez and the Office for Ministry with Young Adults for a Jubilee of Youth Pilgrimage to Rome, Italy! The pilgrimage will take place from July 26 – August 4, 2025 and is open to all young adults (ages 18-39). 

The itinerary will include a visit to all the major Basilicas in Rome, Prayer Vigil and Mass with Pope Francis, a day visit to Assisi (venerating the relics of St. Francis, St. Clare, and Blessed Carlo Acutis), and so much more!

Saturday, July 26 

Depart Philadelphia for Rome

Sunday, July 27

Meet your guide in Rome, walking tour of Rome (time-permitting), Mass, dinner & overnight.

Monday, July 28

Take a Day Trip to Assisi. Visit the Basilicas of St. Clare and St. Francis, & the church of St. Peter to venerate the relics of Bl. Carlo Acutis. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of Sta. Maria degli Angeli. Mass & lunch in Assisi. Return to Rome for overnight.

Tuesday, July 29

Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of St. Mary Major. Witness the pillar at which Christ was scourged at Santa Prassede. Opening Jubilee Mass with our Holy Father. Dinner & overnight.

Wednesday, Jul 30

Tour through Ancient Rome and walk past The Roman Forum and Colosseum. Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of St. Paul Outside the Walls, tour the basilica, and participate in the US Pilgrims gathering (Tentative). Dinner & overnight.

Thursday, July 31

Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of St. John Lateran & witness the relics of the Passion at Santa Croce. Pray on your knees up the Holy Stairs to the Pope’s historical private chapel. Jubilee events, Philadelphia Pilgrims gathering, dinner, & overnight.

Friday, Aug 1

Pilgrimage to the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, Mass, time for prayer, and a tour. Visit the Holy Spirit Church with the relics of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina, and Divine Mercy shrine. Jubilee events, dinner & overnight.

Saturday, August 2 

Morning Mass, Pilgrimage out to Tor Vergata for an evening vigil with the Pope. Overnight under the stars.

Sunday, August 3

Mass with the Holy Father at Tor Vergata, and then depart for Nettuno, the beachside hometown of St. Maria Goretti. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Monday, August 4 

Depart Rome for Philadelphia
